Do you remember Barbapapa? Few people do, and it's really a shame! That's OK, though. Barbapapa lives on in the memories of people who grew up 1970s France, and those who read the translations. The children's' book taught young ones that shapeshifting is totally acceptable behavior. Well, at least it was in the 70s.
