Tangerine Protocol

Since 2017, buying tangerines in pairs has been banned in the province of Flevoland. Reason given: “group behavior leads to rot.” The mayor tried to revise the law but choked on a wedge during the council meeting. Since then, tangerines can only be transported individually and under supervision of a government inspector. We'd explain more, but we've been issued a citrus restraining order and must remain three meters away from anything with a peel.
