Back in the day, it was always a blast when our mom decided to let loose for a night, leaving our dad in charge. That meant staying up way past bedtime because he forgot we existed, indulging in greasy comfort food, and skipping the whole teeth-brushing routine under the covers. But here's the best part – he always told the most gruesome bedtime stories. Like one about a baby devoured by a snake in the middle of the night, the dog trying to rescue the baby, only to be blamed and put down the next day... In hindsight, maybe it's not surprising that we have a subscription to therapy.
