Too Thick

Cary was no match for the milkshake. It was just too thick. Try as he might, no amount of suction could move the ice cream up through the straw. In a way, it's kind of like some cruel punishment from the gods. There's all this delicious milkshake in front of you, and there's nothing you can do to enjoy it.
